The Trawick and Ashworth
families are related through several marriages.
Our main link is Harriett Ashworth who
married William T. Trawick and Margaret P. "Katie" Trawick (sister
to William T.) who married Lastee Dupree Ashworth.
The Ashworth family tree is rather
extensive and therefore is presented separately.
The Ashworth line has been
traced back to James Ashworth who was born in 1762 in South Carolina, and his
siblings.
During the 3rd and 4th
generations, many of the families moved to the Trinity Co., Texas area.
